Key responsibilities

• Manage and review staff and senior work products across client engagements, ensuring deadlines and economics are met.
• Identify tax technical issues, share insights, and improve processes and efficiency.
• Oversee quarterly and annual tax provision for US GAAP and IFRS, including return‑to‑provision adjustments.
• Review deferred tax calculations using the Tax Basis Balance Sheet approach and explain results to clients.
• Prepare cash tax forecasts by jurisdiction and report monthly or quarterly to clients.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet tax accounts, collect supporting documents, and work with clients on reconciling items.
• Participate in transactions such as spin‑offs, mergers, acquisitions, APB 23, and BEPS‑related projects.
• Coordinate with EY country teams as needed and ensure proper allocation of work to staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with more than six years of relevant experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Strong background in income tax accounting, US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues is preferred.

Required skills

• CPA certification.
• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS tax accounting.
• Understanding of BEPS Pillar 2 implementation across jurisdictions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (dynamic tables, intermediate‑advanced formulas).
• Expertise in tax provision, deferred tax calculations, and cash tax forecasting.
