System Analyst – Payments & Finance Operations

About the role

The OPS Tech Payments & Finance stream is expanding key initiatives across operational payments and finance processes. We are seeking a System Analyst to strengthen methodology, build scalable solutions, and ensure compliance for large payment platforms and finance‑related operations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate operational and business requirements into product specifications, including mock‑ups, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to capture day‑to‑day workflows and convert them into clear, repeatable processes.
• Design operational interfaces and underlying workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with existing journeys.
• Assess current integration capabilities (APIs, queues, data exchange) and define required changes to connect processes to systems.
• Support migration and extension of functionality on the new platform, hand over specifications to development, and assist with testing, releases, and stakeholder demos.
• Drive automation across payment platforms, branch cash operations, clearing, reconciliation, and related finance processes to reduce manual effort and improve audit readiness.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a business or system analyst in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking products, operational processes, and the regulatory environment.
• Hands‑on experience designing operational interfaces, complex objects, and workflows.
• Ability to work effectively with operations, finance, and technology teams.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
