System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance. The role involves configuring servers, monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting daily operations to keep the business running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, antivirus, and access policies.
• Manage backup and recovery processes to protect data integrity.
• Support infrastructure components including storage and networking systems.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to meet business and technical requirements.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Familiarity with system monitoring and performance tools.
• Knowledge of security best practices and system hardening.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
