System Administrator (Client-site with relocation package)

About the role

Umpisa Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to join its client‑site team in the Philippines. The role focuses on managing and supporting enterprise‑level infrastructure for core banking operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, install, and administer complex infrastructure components, including Oracle Exadata and Exalogic systems.
• Provide technical support for core banking applications and assist development teams with database migrations and upgrades.
• Plan and implement medium‑term roadmaps for infrastructure reliability and scalability.
• Maintain system uptime, performance, resource utilization, and security compliance.
• Monitor servers, manage storage (SAN), and handle backup solutions such as Oracle Secure Backup and tape archival.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Oracle database administration experience.
• At least 3 years of infrastructure support experience, including Linux system administration.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a self‑organizing Scrum team within a scaled agile framework.
