Support Technician

About the role

Palmetto is looking for a customer‑focused Support Technician to join its IT support team in the Philippines. You will be the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance, providing friendly and efficient help across a range of core systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist a geographically diverse workforce, primarily the Philippines team, with the management and maintenance of Palmetto Core Systems (Google, OneLogin, Salesforce, Slack, Atlassian, Office 365, Intercom, Bitdefender, Rippling, Zoom, 1Password).
• Provide Level 1 administration: account management, hardware setup, basic maintenance, access requests, onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Order equipment and support onboarding/off‑boarding processes for employees in the Philippines and the US.
• Respond promptly to tickets in the Salesforce Service Cloud queue, adhering to SLA guidelines.
• Deliver remote technical support via Slack, email and Salesforce, handling password resets, software installations and hardware inquiries.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or other IT teams when necessary.
