Supply Chain Specialist – Operations (Philippines)

About the role

Svitzer is seeking a hands‑on Supply Chain Specialist to support its marine operations in Batangas, Philippines. You will ensure the efficient flow of materials, services, and equipment needed to keep towage and marine services running safely and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end Purchase‑to‑Pay (P2P) process, enforcing the “No PO, No Pay” policy.
• Coordinate procurement and logistics with vessel crews, operational teams, finance, and suppliers to guarantee timely delivery.
• Track shipments, confirm arrivals, and verify goods received against requisitions.
• Maintain the Sertica Procurement database and provide accurate operational documentation.
• Apply Svitzer Procurement Manual, Group policies, and Sustainable Procurement guidelines.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives, supplier performance, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, logistics, or supply‑chain management supporting operational environments.
• Strong understanding of P2P processes and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
• Detail‑oriented with solid analytical and organizational skills.
