Supply Chain & Procurement Manager – Manila

About the role

AES is expanding its operations in the Philippines and seeks a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead procurement, inventory and logistics activities for its ground support equipment maintenance business. Based in Manila, you will be responsible for ensuring parts availability while controlling costs and supporting operational excellence across multiple airport sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational and financial goals.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms and service agreements with local and international suppliers.
• Build and maintain a reliable supplier network and monitor performance through KPIs.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with AES standards, policies and ethical practices.
• Plan and execute supply planning to guarantee timely spare‑part availability at all airport stations.
• Optimize inventory levels, implement automatic replenishment processes and conduct regular inventory reconciliations.
• Reduce slow‑moving and obsolete stock through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop maintenance kits and predefined spare‑part lists within the ERP system.
• Lead, develop and support the Supply Chain team, conducting performance reviews and setting objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Finance and Customer Service to ensure seamless support.

Required profile

• Report directly to the Contract & Operations Manager.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a Supply Chain team.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional departments.
• Commitment to compliance with company standards and ethical business practices.
