Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead demand planning activities, turning market insights and historical data into accurate operational forecasts. This role works closely with sales, marketing and finance to ensure inventory strategies align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop operational demand forecasts at multiple aggregation levels and time horizons.
• Analyse historical sales trends, identify demand drivers and build statistical forecast models.
• Evaluate forecast performance and adjust models based on updated sales and marketing assumptions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional research to reconcile variances and refine forecasting assumptions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Customer Finance to gather accurate input for forecasts.
• Maintain and operate the RFC demand‑planning software as the primary forecasting tool.
• Provide inventory strategy input to the Supply Planning team for existing items, new products and phase‑outs.
• Communicate customer action plans and align them with supply planning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in supply and demand planning, warehousing or customs brokerage.
• Strong understanding of retail financial indicators such as sales, gross margin, inventory productivity, sell‑through and stock turnover.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and proven leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with RFC demand‑planning software.
• Advanced Google Sheets skills for reporting and analysis.
• Experience building and applying statistical forecasting models.
