Supply Chain Management Specialist

About the role

FHI 360 is seeking a Supply Chain Management Specialist to support the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) Global Health Security workplan in the Philippines. The role provides technical and operational assistance to strengthen national and sub‑national supply chain systems that are essential for public‑health emergency preparedness, outbreak response, and laboratory readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and document existing supply chain management systems at the Department of Health, regional health offices, laboratories, and priority health facilities to identify bottlenecks.
• Support the design and implementation of Emergency Readiness Reserves, laboratory commodity security measures, and surge supply mechanisms.
• Collaborate with DOH‑OHL, HEMB, SCM Service, RITM, DA‑BAI, regional health offices, and project sub‑partners to ensure rapid and safe delivery of essential commodities.
• Provide technical guidance to improve availability, security, and timely delivery of supplies for surveillance, diagnostics, biosafety, infection prevention, and emergency response.

Required profile

• Experience providing technical and operational support to public‑health supply chain systems.
• Familiarity with emergency‑ready supply chain concepts and laboratory commodity management.
• Ability to work closely with government agencies and health‑sector partners.
