Supply Chain Coordinator / Procurement Assistant (Remote, Freelance)

About the role

The client is a fast‑growing lifestyle brand that designs and manufactures accessories. They need a dedicated coordinator to manage day‑to‑day communication with overseas suppliers, keep purchase orders on track, and ensure payments and timelines are accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with suppliers via WeChat and email, asking specific follow‑up questions and resolving issues.
• Track 5–15 active purchase orders per supplier each week, monitor deposits, balances, and payment schedules.
• Coordinate with finance to guarantee timely and correct supplier payments.
• Monitor projects from development through production, updating task owners, assignees, and due dates.
• Update the company’s PMS, PLM, ERP, ClickUp, spreadsheets, and inventory system with accurate data.
• Identify delayed projects or blockers, escalate significant issues, and provide a concise daily summary each morning.

Required profile

• Enjoy juggling multiple moving parts and staying organized without repeated direction.
• Comfortable working with overseas teams, navigating time zones and communication styles.
• Proactive ownership of outcomes, knowing when to act independently and when to escalate.
• Ability to ask sharp, specific questions rather than sending generic check‑ins.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ERP/PLM systems.
• Experience with PMS platforms and ClickUp.
• Strong spreadsheet skills for tracking supplier and project data.
• Effective written communication via WeChat and email with international suppliers.
• Purchase order management across multiple active orders.
