Structural Design Engineer

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join its Global Excellence Centre (GEC). The role will support a variety of infrastructure and building projects, collaborating with teams across India, Romania, the Philippines and other Arcadis locations.

Key responsibilities

• Apply Arcadis health and safety principles throughout project delivery.
• Manage elements of structural design projects to meet time, quality, budget and safety targets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.
• Plan and allocate work, monitor progress and resource utilisation.
• Guide junior team members, providing technical advice and supporting their professional development.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations, develop technical designs, models and reports with limited supervision.
• Investigate and analyse technical challenges, proposing effective solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience delivering structural design work within project constraints.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Commitment to applying Arcadis health and safety principles.
• Capability to mentor and support junior engineers.
