Strategic Account Manager – Conglomerates

About the role

The Strategic Account Manager partners with large conglomerate customers to secure their entire digital experience. This position drives revenue growth by leading new engagements with Palo Alto Networks’ biggest clients and delivering end‑to‑end threat‑prevention solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue expansion within the company’s largest accounts.
• Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles while collaborating with internal partners.
• Identify business challenges and create tailored, consultative solutions.
• Position the Palo Alto Networks portfolio against the competitive landscape.
• Develop detailed territory plans, set clear goals, and provide accurate forecasts.
• Leverage prospect stories to craft compelling, account‑specific value propositions.
• Stay current on industry news, trends, and their impact on products and services.
• Travel as needed within the territory and to company‑wide meetings.

Required profile

• Experience with SaaS‑based architectures, preferably in networking or security.
• Proven track record selling complex, value‑based solutions.
• Technical aptitude to understand how technology solves business problems.
• Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Experience cultivating relationships with channel partners and executing a channel‑centric go‑to‑market approach.
• Deep knowledge of the full sales cycle and adherence to a structured sales process.
• Holistic problem‑solving mindset with strong time‑management and autonomy.
