About the role
The Store Pharmacist ensures the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing while providing patient counseling. This role works closely with the Corporate Pharmacist and represents the store during regulatory inspections.
Key responsibilities
- Validate prescriptions and ensure accurate dispensing of medicines.
- Provide patient counseling and answer drug‑related queries.
- Coordinate with the Corporate Pharmacist on store operations.
- Maintain up‑to‑date reference books and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Remove expired or damaged stock from medicine cabinets.
- Represent the store during FDA/PDEA inspections.
- Train store personnel on product awareness and new practices.
Required profile
- Registered Pharmacist or License Holder (fresh graduates welcome).
- Willingness to work shifting schedules, compressed work week (5 days on, 2 days off), holidays and weekends as needed.
- Open to relocation with allowances provided.
