Staff Pharmacist – Hospital Pharmacy

About the role

The Hospital Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing, patient counseling, and inventory management in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately according to physician orders and established pharmacy procedures.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, potential drug interactions, contraindications, and dosage requirements.
• Provide counseling and instructions to patients on proper medication use, storage, and possible side effects.
• Prepare, compound, label, and dispense medications following standard protocols.
• Monitor medication stocks, manage expiration dates, and conduct regular inventory counts.
• Handle and document controlled, dangerous, and regulated drugs in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication‑related concerns.
• Report adverse drug reactions, medication errors, and other incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of dispensing, inventory, and pharmacy transactions.
• Support audits, inspections, and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist with a valid PRC license and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy practice, including medication dispensing and preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication skills for patient counseling and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Imus City on rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
