Sport & Recreation Manager

About the role

The Sport & Recreation Manager will lead the daily operation of all sports, recreation and wellness facilities at Dusit Hotels and Resorts in Cebu. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that guests enjoy safe, engaging, and high‑quality activities that reflect the brand’s “Always Gracious” promise.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise a diverse range of recreational programs, classes and special events.
• Manage recreation staff, providing guidance, training and performance feedback.
• Maintain equipment and facilities to meet brand standards and health‑safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to create integrated guest experiences.
• Control budgets, monitor revenue and costs, and keep accurate operational records.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory and leadership experience, preferably in hospitality, resort or leisure facilities management.
• Proven ability to coordinate daily operations and lead a team.
• Knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles and ability to adapt activities for diverse guest needs is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, colleagues and external partners.
• Basic budgeting and financial management capabilities.
• Relevant degree or certification in recreation management, sports science, hospitality or a related field is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
