Solutions Architect

About the role

Join LG CNS Singapore to lead the design and delivery of cutting‑edge IT solutions for APAC financial institutions. You will leverage proven Korean expertise to drive digital transformation, core banking modernization, and data integration across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of new solutions requested by major IT stakeholders on the client side.
• Provide consultancy and advisory services for system integration, proof‑of‑concept, and impact analysis.
• Develop methodologies for right‑sizing infrastructure to ensure resilient, cost‑effective deployments.
• Conduct in‑depth system performance analysis and identify bottlenecks.
• Communicate solution designs to diverse teams and deliver documentation or training as needed.
• Architect end‑to‑end solutions for core banking transformation, legacy modernization, and cloud migration.
• Design and oversee data lake integration, ensuring efficient data ingestion, processing, and access.
• Define solution blueprints, technical standards, and integration patterns aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Lead technology evaluation, selection, and ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data‑governance standards.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Mentor engineering teams and support solution reviews, performance tuning, and optimization.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience delivering projects in the financial services industry.
• Minimum 5 years in a dedicated solutions architect role.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and resilient integration architectures in complex enterprises.
• Strong background in core banking system transformation and legacy modernization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Design of scalable integration architectures.
• Data lake technologies such as Azure Data Lake, AWS Lake Formation, and GCP BigLake.
• API design, microservices architecture, and event‑driven systems.
• Knowledge of banking domains including payments, customer onboarding, loans, and compliance.
• Understanding of data governance, security protocols, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., MAS, GDPR, PCI‑DSS).
