Solar Project Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of solar PV power plant projects across the Philippines. The role involves overseeing all phases from design through construction, commissioning and hand‑over while ensuring safety, quality and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare procedural reports and weekly/monthly project updates for key and commercial accounts.
• Manage engineering design, technical issues and procurement of main solar PV equipment.
• Oversee construction, commissioning, risk and contract management activities.
• Negotiate and award contracts to general contractors and monitor their performance.
• Establish and enforce EH&S programs during the construction phase.
• Maintain client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders.
• Lead licensing, permitting and ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and develop action plans to mitigate project risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and registration as an Electrical Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years experience in renewable energy, specifically solar PV design and project delivery.
• Proven track record of successfully managing solar projects from concept to commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine statutory rules and regulations for solar installations.
• PMP, PMI or equivalent project‑management certification.
• Preferably residing in the South Luzon area (e.g., Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Laguna, Cavite).
