Software Engineer – Transactional Domain

About the role

Avaloq is seeking a Software Engineer to join its global Transactional Domain team. You will work on end‑to‑end transactional solutions, from customer‑specific SaaS configurations to core banking modules, supporting leading financial institutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative solutions for new developments in collaboration with technical leads and architects.
• Develop and maintain business functionality across software layers, ensuring reliability through automated testing.
• Take full ownership of assigned modules, optimizing performance and functionality.
• Collaborate closely with team members and cross‑functional colleagues to deliver high‑quality results.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong interest in banking and financial services.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong client focus and communication skills in English.
• Motivated, collaborative mindset with a structured work approach.
