Software Engineer

About the role

Giftaway® Inc. is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to develop and maintain both back‑end and front‑end components of its eGift platform. You will work closely with product managers and other engineers to deliver reliable, high‑performance software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Identify and fix software defects, bugs, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define software requirements.
• Design and implement software solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure reliability, stability, and performance.
• Work with other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Optimize software performance through refactoring, profiling, and other techniques.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Strong educational background in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficient in back‑end and front‑end web development and general software development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good understanding of database systems and version control.
• Experience with cloud‑based services and deployment is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
