Software Engineer – iOS (Hybrid, Retail)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our retail technology team. The role is hybrid, with a schedule of Monday to Friday (6 am‑3 pm PHT), and focuses on building and maintaining mobile applications that serve a large user base.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and release native mobile applications aligned with business goals.
• Support the full application lifecycle, including API development and performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with product and UX teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing web‑to‑mobile integrations.
• Research and propose new mobile technologies, products, and protocols.
• Write unit and UI tests, debug issues, and ensure security best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
• 2‑4 years of professional software‑development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in large, multi‑stakeholder teams.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Jetpack Compose.
• Core Android SDKs and libraries.
• RESTful API integration (GraphQL a plus).
• DevOps tools: Atlassian suite, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence.
• Understanding of security concepts and practices.
• Exposure to cloud services.
