Software Engineer II (AI)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer II with a focus on AI to design, develop, and integrate modern backend applications and generative‑AI capabilities. The role is ideal for engineers with 3‑5 years of experience who want to deepen their expertise in Python, cloud platforms, and AI integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
• Integrate AI and Generative AI features into enterprise workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver cloud‑native solutions on Azure and/or AWS.
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Implement secure, reliable, and maintainable software practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Support deployment automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python development.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and JSON data handling.
• Hands‑on exposure to AI or Generative AI technologies.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with GitHub, branching strategies, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
