Software Engineer – Full‑Stack (React & Laravel)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Information Systems team, working on full‑stack development, systems integration, and internal tooling. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of features and participation in technical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end features using React and back‑end services with PHP/Laravel or similar technologies.
• Design and build internal tools, dashboards, and automation workflows.
• Implement and maintain REST APIs and integrate third‑party services such as billing, ticketing, messaging, and identity verification.
• Write clean, testable, well‑documented code and take part in code reviews.
• Utilise AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot) in daily work and share best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot moderately complex issues across the stack, leveraging AI tools when appropriate.
• Provide guidance and code‑review feedback to junior engineers.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with at least one back‑end language (PHP/Laravel, JavaScript/Node.js) and a front‑end framework (React preferred).
• Good understanding of REST APIs and experience integrating third‑party systems.
• Practical use of AI coding tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for coding, debugging, or documentation.
• Comfortable with Git and standard version‑control workflows, including branching and code reviews.
• Ability to work independently on well‑scoped tasks and collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams.
