Software Engineer (AI focus)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Information Systems team. You will work on full‑stack features, integrate external services, and build AI‑powered functionality, taking ownership from design to production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using React and back‑end services with PHP/Laravel or comparable stacks.
• Design internal tools, dashboards, and automation workflows.
• Implement and manage REST APIs and third‑party integrations such as billing, ticketing, messaging, and identity verification.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot) daily and share best practices with the team.
• Build AI‑driven features that call LLM APIs for text processing, summarization, or automation.
• Debug and resolve moderately complex issues across the stack, using AI tools when appropriate.
• Provide code reviews and guidance to junior engineers.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Ability to work independently on well‑scoped tasks and collaborate across product, QA, and engineering.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new AI technologies.

Required skills

• PHP with Laravel (or similar back‑end framework).
• JavaScript/Node.js.
• React front‑end framework.
• REST API design and third‑party integration.
• Git version control and code‑review workflows.
• Practical use of AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Understanding of LLM/AI APIs (prompt engineering, token management) and experience integrating them.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as n8n or Zapier (nice to have).
