Social Media Officer

About the role

The Social Media Officer will create and manage compelling content across BPI’s social channels, using the bank’s corporate narrative to strengthen reputation and shape a positive online climate. You will work closely with multiple business units to ensure consistent, engaging messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑impact content that expands reach, drives engagement, and grows the audience on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Manage the bank’s social media assets, ensuring regular release of relevant and viral posts.
• Identify and launch initiatives that enhance brand reputation and foster a favorable social media environment.
• Research emerging social media trends and best practices to keep strategies current.
• Monitor conversations on and off official channels, extracting insights to improve reputation management.
• Collaborate with business units, writers, and multimedia artists to create informative, engaging content.
• Handle complex or sensitive inquiries that could impact the bank’s image.
• Support the development and enforcement of social media policies and guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in content and community management, preferably within financial services or a consumer‑facing industry.
• Proven track record in digital marketing and social media management.
• Familiarity with banking products and services.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and written communication skills.
• Innovative mindset with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
