Social Media Manager – Remote (Australia-based)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Social Media Manager to lead the online presence of an Australian security solutions provider. The role is fully remote, based in the Philippines, and works on Australian business hours (9 am‑6 pm AU time).

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activity on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn business accounts.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with business priorities.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitor trends to inform lead‑generation tactics.
• Create and edit copy that reflects the brand voice and values.
• Design visual assets and sales collateral using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Engage with internal teams to source content ideas and support the founder’s LinkedIn page.
• Monitor comments, messages and community enquiries, responding promptly.
• Participate in relevant online communities and industry groups to boost brand awareness.
• Track performance metrics, produce regular reports and recommend optimisation strategies.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve content creation efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
• Proven experience managing Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn business pages.
• Hands‑on experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
