Future Glow Philippines is seeking a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes the internet. The ideal candidate is a TikTok enthusiast, stays on top of news and trends, and can turn complex political and cultural topics into engaging short‑form content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies focused on news, politics, current affairs, and culture.
• Identify emerging conversations early and adapt content calendars for real‑time coverage.
• Create compelling captions, hooks, scripts, and TikTok‑first videos that simplify complex subjects.
• Collaborate with editors and creatives to produce short‑form videos optimized for engagement.
• Monitor comments, manage community sentiment, and handle potential social media crises.
• Track performance across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube, and continuously test formats, hooks, and posting schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in social media, digital content, journalism, media, political campaigns, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine politics, governance, elections, public policy, and current affairs.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, fact‑checking, and research abilities.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
