Social Media & Community Associate

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Social Media & Community Associate to build and sustain Open iT's social presence. You will manage consistent publishing, engage actively with online communities, and create content that aligns with real business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the social media calendar, primarily on LinkedIn, planning, scheduling and publishing content consistently.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy based on engagement data.
• Engage actively in relevant online communities such as LinkedIn groups, Reddit and industry forums, responding to comments and DMs within 24 business hours.
• Coordinate with the Content team to repurpose long‑form assets into social‑ready formats and collaborate with internal and external teams to surface insights and stories.
• Provide regular performance reporting and contribute to cross‑team content cadence.

Required profile

• Demonstrated social media experience with a portfolio of a channel, page or campaign you have built and grown.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn and Facebook, with familiarity of scheduling tools.
• Strong analytical ability to pull and interpret data from LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics or similar platforms.
• Experience or willingness to work with AI tools such as Claude.
• Excellent written English with a consistent brand voice.
• Organised, proactive and collaborative work style.
