SOC Team Lead (L2) – Incident Response

About the role

Accenture is looking for an experienced SOC Team Lead (L2) to strengthen its cyber defense capabilities. You will guide analysts, lead complex incident investigations, and continuously improve security operations across enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the investigation and resolution of high‑severity security incidents escalated from L1 analysts.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, threat validation, and incident triage across diverse platforms.
• Coordinate response efforts with CSIRT, engineering teams, and business stakeholders during critical events.
• Conduct proactive threat‑hunting using IoCs and threat intelligence.
• Mentor SOC analysts through coaching, quality reviews, and best‑practice incident handling.
• Collaborate with detection engineering to refine use cases, improve alert quality, and enhance SOC processes.
• Maintain comprehensive incident documentation, playbooks, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in a SOC, Incident Response, or Cyber Defense environment.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring SOC analysts.
• Strong hands‑on expertise investigating incidents with SIEM and security monitoring tools.
• Solid knowledge of network security, malware analysis, threat detection, and threat hunting.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and coordinate cross‑functional response efforts.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar or Google SecOps.
• CrowdStrike Falcon (highly preferred).
• Scripting with Python or PowerShell for automation and investigations.
• Experience with cloud security monitoring on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with log analysis, network traffic inspection, and security event correlation.
