Site Manager – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction and erection of renewable energy power plants in the Philippines. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee all on‑site activities for a 16‑month contract, ensuring the project meets schedule, quality, safety and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil, structural and electrical site engineers and the EPC contractor’s construction work.
• Monitor progress against drawings, specifications and schedules, identifying and resolving site‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and enforce site QA/QC procedures.
• Manage material receipt, inspection, handling, storage and installation documentation.
• Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates and inspection records to project stakeholders.
• Liaise with client, consultants and other stakeholders throughout the construction phase.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing construction and erection of power plants or similar complex industrial projects.
• Specific experience in solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project construction.
• Strong background in HSE management on construction sites.
• Hands‑on experience with site QA/QC processes, material handling and inspection.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
