Site Inspector – Rockworks, Revetment & Quarry

About the role

Join a leading maritime engineering consultancy as a Site Inspector, supporting the construction of a landmark reclamation project in Manila Bay. You will work on‑site in Pasay, supervising rockworks, revetment and quarry activities to ensure safe, accurate delivery in line with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise on‑site and quarry investigations, rock production and revetment construction works.
• Review contractor documentation such as method statements, ITPs, risk assessments, drawings, plans and test records.
• Monitor quality, quantities, materials, deliveries, testing and installation of sand, rock, geotextiles, filters, underlayers and armour layers.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, design criteria, standards, codes and HSE requirements.
• Identify, report and follow up on defects, non‑conformances, geotechnical risks and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and clients to resolve site issues and support safe, efficient progress.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably within an engineering consultancy.
• Experience in quality control for quarried rock, revetment construction and related marine works is advantageous.
