Single Carrier Landside Specialist – Spanish Speaker

About the role

Maersk is seeking a proactive Single Carrier Landside Specialist who is fluent in Spanish and English. You will manage end‑to‑end dispatch operations, ensuring containers move smoothly across truck, rail, and barge networks while delivering a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate container dispatch across multiple transport modes, guaranteeing timely execution.
• Interact daily with customers, carriers, terminal operators, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor shipment movements, identify risks early, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage exception processes, including vendor disputes, charge approvals, and operational disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records, system updates, and documentation for compliance and visibility.
• Oversee accessorial costs, equipment utilization, and container idling to improve efficiency.
• Foster strong stakeholder partnerships and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
• 3–5 years of experience in customer service, BPO, or shipping logistics.
