About the role
The Shopify Specialist develops, optimises and maintains high-performing e-commerce stores on the Shopify platform. The role covers theme customisation, app integration and user experience improvements that help drive conversions.
Key responsibilities
- Build, configure and customise Shopify stores to client specifications.
- Develop custom Shopify themes from scratch or modify existing ones to meet client needs.
- Identify, integrate and manage Shopify apps to improve store functionality and customer experience.
- Implement SEO, page speed and mobile responsiveness best practices for e-commerce stores.
- Assist with product uploads, inventory updates and categorisation.
- Analyse store performance and recommend improvements to conversion rate and average order value.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for theme and app issues.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers and clients to align store functionality with business goals.
Required profile
- Minimum 2-3 years of Shopify development experience with a strong e-commerce track record.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
