Service Technician Tier 2 – Remote Night Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician Tier 2 to provide advanced technical support for Windows, macOS, and cloud environments. This remote, night‑shift position allows you to work from home while serving as the escalation point for Tier 1 issues.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced remote troubleshooting and issue resolution across Windows, macOS, and cloud platforms.
• Act as primary escalation for Tier 1 Service Desk, handling complex infrastructure and end‑user problems.
• Administer Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot networking infrastructure, virtualization (VMware), and cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
• Collaborate with Engineering and Service Desk teams to improve processes, maintain documentation, and ensure excellent customer service.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a Tier 2 Service Desk role.
• Strong background with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Workspace, macOS, and Windows environments.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewall troubleshooting).
• Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
