Service Technician I - F&B

About the role

Ecolab Food & Beverage is seeking an entry‑level Service Technician I to support food, beverage and dairy manufacturers. You will combine sales and technical consulting to improve food safety, product quality, sustainability and operational efficiency for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct service strategy surveys, process verifications and reporting.
• Consult customers on chemical, technical and application issues and help optimize their cleaning systems.
• Perform field testing, generate reports and deliver training.
• Establish, verify and document hygiene plans during regular client visits.
• Install, repair and maintain equipment on‑site, ensuring machine maintenance targets are met.
• Support rollout of new service programs and concepts.
• Track and enter monthly safety metrics into the company system.
• Identify and implement service improvements and safety recommendations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a technical service role.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to reside in and travel within the assigned territory.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull and transport up to the specified weight.
• Comfort working in confined spaces, freezing or hot environments.
• Pass a drug test and physical examination.
