Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and delivering excellent customer service. This onsite role focuses on vault and ATM cash management, tellering functions, and risk mitigation to uphold the bank's reputation and financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault/ATM cash level monitoring and tellering operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with BSP/AMLA regulations, internal policies, and external regulatory rules.
• Analyze and execute service initiatives aimed at increasing deposits, fees, and revenue from bank products.
• Identify and manage risk areas to prevent errors, irregularities, and potential financial losses.
• Maintain productivity and administrative standards within set guidelines, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• At least a four‑year degree in Business or a service‑industry‑related field.
• Extensive knowledge of bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and motivated under high‑stress conditions.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
