Server and Network Administrator

About the role

The Server and Network Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability across all server and network environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
• Perform timely system updates and patch management.
• Manage user access, permissions, and security controls.
• Oversee services, applications, and user configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to optimize performance.
• Maintain network servers, hardware, software, and configurations.
• Configure and manage network hardware such as routers and switches.
• Ensure servers comply with disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor network performance metrics (availability, utilization, latency).
• Evaluate and implement new technologies for operational improvement.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams for standardization and flexibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and a customer‑service mindset.

Required skills

• Linux, Windows, and macOS operating systems.
• Server hardware and virtualization technologies.
• Routers, switches, LAN, WAN, and VLAN networking.
• Firewalls, access controls, and data protection.
