SEO Specialist – Search Engine Optimization Expert

About the role

Forest Lake Development, Inc. is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to lead all search engine optimization initiatives, improve website visibility, and drive organic traffic.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research aligned with business goals to enhance existing content and uncover new opportunities.
• Analyze competitor sites and SERP data to inform organic traffic strategies.
• Implement and test SEO recommendations, collect and interpret performance data.
• Track events and website analytics using Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console and related tools.
• Optimize copy, landing pages, meta descriptions and calls-to-action for higher rankings and click-through rates.
• Support the content team in creating high-quality, SEO-friendly material.
• Develop and execute link-building campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative, test-driven field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on SEO experience.
• Proven expertise with website analytics and tracking tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, AdWords, Search Console, etc.).
• Digital marketing certification (e.g., Google or HubSpot) is a plus.
• Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
• Strong knowledge of ranking factors, search engine algorithms and backlink strategies.
• Familiarity with content creation, on-page optimization and basic programming languages.
• Excellent reporting, copywriting and analytical abilities.
