Senior/Staff Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

OurAssistants is seeking experienced Senior or Staff Software Engineers to design and develop scalable software solutions that deliver world‑class savings outcomes for our logistics, property management, and service‑based clients. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work independently within UK business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑quality, secure, and scalable software.
• Automate tasks using appropriate tools and scripting, and review/debug code.
• Perform validation, verification, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve products.
• Keep software up‑to‑date with the latest technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior or Staff Software Engineer.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills.
• Reside in the Philippines with a stable internet connection and remote‑ready workstation.

Required skills

• C# and Java programming.
• JavaScript/React development.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non‑relational databases (DynamoDB).
• Automated testing frameworks (Jest, NUnit).
• System monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch).
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
