Senior Team Manager - Controllership

About the role

The Senior Team Manager – Controllership will support the finance function by ensuring accurate financial information and analysis for decision‑making. You will lead a sub‑tower within the Controllership COE, driving performance, continuous improvement, and high‑quality reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, create, and post journals, securing necessary approvals.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of financial data and maintain organized reconciliation records.
• Generate and close general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable reports for management review.
• Upload ERP trial balances to consolidation software and perform balance‑sheet and trial‑balance reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing statutory and consolidated financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with regional teams to support group consolidation processes.
• Handle ad‑hoc technical accounting issues, prepare work papers, and present findings to management.
• Support internal and external audit activities, providing documentation and acting as liaison.
• Run daily huddles, set and monitor KPI targets, and conduct performance reviews.
• Submit RTO schedules, monitor team capacity, and resolve schedule disputes.
• Promote continuous professional development and implement legislative or best‑practice changes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in controllership, financial reporting, and audit liaison.
• Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, set performance targets, and drive improvements.
• Strong understanding of statutory and consolidated reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
