Senior Tax Specialist / Supervisor

About the role

Coins, the leading crypto brand in the Philippines, is looking for a Senior Tax Specialist/Supervisor to shape and manage its global corporate tax structure. The role will support tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions while working closely with the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a global tax structure covering the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, Europe and other regions.
• Review financial statements and tax returns to optimise tax costs and ensure timely BIR filings.
• Develop and enforce tax policies that promote compliance and mitigate risk.
• Manage interactions with tax regulators, resolve tax cases and represent finance in audits.
• Provide tax advice on domestic and cross‑border transactions and propose tax‑efficient alternatives.
• Monitor legislative updates, communicate impacts and adapt strategies accordingly.

Required profile

• CPA or CPA‑Lawyer with a Certificate of Accreditation as a Tax Practitioner.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive tax experience, preferably with a Big Four firm or a large multinational.
• Recent experience (within the last 12 months) building corporate tax structures.
• Proven leadership, personnel management and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work accurately under pressure.
