Senior Tax Associate

About the role

Publicis Re:Sources is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to lead tax compliance, advisory and audit activities for its Philippine operations. You will work closely with internal teams and external tax authorities to ensure accurate tax reporting and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Compute and pay tax liabilities, file returns within prescribed timelines.
• Prepare and file applications for refunds or rectifications and follow up with relevant departments.
• Gather facts from various teams to respond to tax audits and notices.
• Represent the company before tax authorities on tax‑related matters.
• Support internal and external reviews and audits.
• Maintain compliance with all internal policies, including Janus.
• Foster strong working relationships across the organization and with external partners.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in Philippines taxation, preferably with a reputable accounting firm.
• Experience in a multinational environment is a plus.
• Proven ability to draft audit protest letters.
• Strong knowledge of Philippines tax rules and the ability to negotiate or challenge tax assessments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in the media or advertising industry is an advantage.
