Senior Structural Engineer

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to contribute to cutting‑edge projects in semiconductor manufacturing and structural design for new and existing facilities. The role offers the chance to work on innovative engineering solutions that support thriving communities and resilient environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage schedule and technical quality of routine engineering tasks while aligning with client expectations, scope, budget, and timeline.
• Prepare technical specifications, bidding documents, and construction drawings, and act as the structural discipline lead reviewer in project meetings.
• Identify and communicate scope or design changes promptly, and participate in project proposals offering tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering design, preferably with semiconductor structural projects.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and Structural Engineering Registration (SE) are advantageous.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities, with a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• AutoCAD drafting and 3D/BIM modeling.
• Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
