Senior Specialist, System

About the role

The Senior Specialist, System will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise IT infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of Windows environments, virtualization platforms, and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Nutanix AHV, VMware, and Office 365 services.
• Manage core infrastructure components such as Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, SAN/NAS/HCI storage, and backup/disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, virtualization, and network issues, performing root‑cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Lead projects including system upgrades, migrations, virtualization deployments, and hardware refreshes while keeping documentation up to date.
• Implement security best practices: patch management, vulnerability remediation, MFA, and endpoint protection.
• Monitor system health, analyze performance metrics, and recommend improvements for reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system administration or enterprise infrastructure support.
• Proven expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Office 365, and PowerShell scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with Nutanix AHV, VMware vSphere/ESXi, and virtualization networking.
• Knowledge of enterprise storage (SAN, NAS, HCI), backup technologies (Veeam or Commvault) and hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft Azure, Nutanix Certified Professional, VMware Certified Professional, CompTIA Security+, AWS SysOps) are a plus.
