Senior Security Engineer

About the role

Auctane is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen its global engineering and operations within the Information Security Group. Reporting directly to the CISO, you will lead security programs that protect our enterprise and cloud infrastructures while overseeing core security‑operations activities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop technology and processes for cybersecurity across global infrastructure.
• Secure enterprise and cloud environments, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Manage day‑to‑day security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and threat mitigation.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to embed security best practices into product development.
• Support up to 10% travel for security assessments and stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading security initiatives for large‑scale enterprise and cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident handling, and risk management.
• Ability to work night‑shift hours (10 pm – 7 am PHT) and adapt to a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams.
