Senior Project Associate – Health Facilities Support

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Project Associate to support health‑facility programming in Mindanao, focusing on the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The incumbent will work closely with national and regional health authorities to ensure health infrastructure is safe, functional, and meets international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of migration health programmes across BARMM, especially in Lanao del Sur and Marawi City.
• Collaborate with the Department of Health, BARMM Ministry of Health, and local government units to plan, design, and upgrade health facilities.
• Ensure health infrastructure complies with national and international standards for safety, functionality, and equipment.
• Provide technical guidance under the supervision of the Head of Sub‑Office and the National Project Officer (Engineering).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field with at least four years of relevant experience, OR a high‑school diploma with six years of relevant experience.
• Relevant accreditation, certification or formal training in health‑facility design, medical engineering, civil engineering, medical‑equipment installation, or ICT integration is an asset.
