Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Platform Engineer at Five9 you will deliver high‑quality consulting and implementation services for enterprise customers of the cloud contact‑center platform. You will lead deployments from requirements gathering through go‑live, ensuring solutions meet business needs while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, configuration, product training, solution testing and production rollout for enterprise customers.
• Design and implement integrations with partner systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Velocity and other APIs.
• Configure complex IVR trees, digital channels (chat, email, SMS) and advanced data queries.
• Mentor junior consultants and act as technical escalation point for challenging projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in contact‑center SaaS environments, with at least 7 years in professional services consulting.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale implementations for platforms such as Genesys, InContact/NICE or similar.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, including SSO, SIP and API integrations.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Salesforce, NetSuite, Velocity and other third‑party integrations.
• Strong knowledge of IVR design, digital channel (chat/email/SMS) configuration and API development.
• Experience with SSO, WFA, Securepay, IVA, HookAPIs, ESS and DVA connections.
