Senior Off-Page SEO & Link Building Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Senior Off‑Page SEO Specialist to lead link‑building, digital PR, and authority‑building initiatives for US‑based clients. You will collaborate closely with on‑page SEO, content, and account teams to boost domain authority and achieve measurable ranking improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive off‑page SEO strategies, including link building, digital PR, and brand mentions.
• Identify high‑quality backlink opportunities using Ahrefs, SEMrush, and manual research, qualifying prospects by domain rating, traffic, relevance, and spam score.
• Run manual outreach campaigns such as guest posting, broken‑link building, niche edits, resource‑page outreach, and HARO.
• Develop natural anchor‑text and link‑velocity plans aligned with target keywords.
• Conduct regular backlink audits, manage disavow files, and troubleshoot ranking drops caused by toxic links.
• Monitor competitor backlink profiles and recommend tactical responses.
• Present performance reports and strategy updates during daily PH CEO calls and US client meetings.
• Stay current with Google algorithm updates, E‑E‑A‑T guidelines, and evolving link‑quality signals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of dedicated off‑page SEO and link‑building experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Excellent spoken and written English with a clear, neutral accent.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate link metrics into actionable strategies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Ahrefs and SEMrush.
• Expertise in Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4).
• Working knowledge of HTML basics.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, and Webflow.
