Senior Legal Entity Controller – French Speaker

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Entity Controller who is fluent in French and English to lead the legal entity financial reporting function for multiple APAC markets. Based in BGC, Taguig, the role combines team leadership with hands‑on oversight of statutory reporting, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Legal Entity Controllers and Analysts.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities for multiple legal entities.
• Review and approve complex journal entries and accounting adjustments.
• Prepare and submit statutory financial statements, tax filings, reporting packages and regulatory reports on time.
• Maintain strong internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Business Unit Finance, Regional Controllers, Consolidations and Technical Accounting to resolve accounting issues.
• Coordinate local statutory audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Ensure compliance with French Local GAAP, US GAAP (where applicable), local tax regulations and corporate reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in controllership, financial reporting or finance leadership within a multinational organization.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong knowledge of French Local GAAP and experience with French Workers Council.
• Proven leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
