Senior Internal Auditor – Global Internal Audit

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead audit engagements across multiple regions, supporting the Global Internal Audit function. Reporting to Global Internal Audit Leads and Directors, you will evaluate business processes, application controls, and financial operations to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audit reviews to assess adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of processes and systems.
• Prepare work papers, audit reports, and management action plans based on findings.
• Maintain regular communication with business management and audit leadership on progress, roadblocks, and observations.
• Collaborate with the Global Internal Audit Competency Center to analyze issues with regional and global impact, develop trend analyses, and share best practices.
• Assess the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure compliance with company policies and Sarbanes‑Oxley legislation.
• Provide clear verbal and written communication of audit observations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Contribute to departmental projects, share testing methodologies, and demonstrate leadership in project management.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in an audit‑related role, preferably within a Big‑4 accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and operational audit concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with auditees.
