Senior Incident Response Analyst – Cyber Detection & Response

About the role

As a Senior Incident Response Analyst you will join EY’s global cybersecurity operations, leading the detection, investigation, containment and remediation of complex security incidents across cloud, on‑premise and hybrid environments. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies and collaborate with teams worldwide to protect EY’s infrastructure, assets and data.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advanced threat analysis, digital forensics and root‑cause investigations for high‑severity incidents.
• Develop, refine and maintain incident response playbooks and detection capabilities.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Coordinate with global security teams to ensure consistent response across all EY locations.
• Continuously improve processes, tools and metrics to enhance overall security posture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in incident response, threat hunting and digital forensics.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex security events.
• Excellent communication skills to convey findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, globally distributed environment.
